Exactly what we were saying …

Nobody should seriously be promoting Bama for a playoff spot now, not even with extra chaos next weekend, however that would look.

Here's hoping Auburn takes care of business and it's completely moot.

If the committee is dead set on taking a 3-loss SEC team, South Carolina is just as good an option as Bama, despite the head to head loss. And South Carolina has no business being in the playoffs, either.

Exactly if they fucking luck into backing in because other teams shit the bed then whatever but if anyone is actively promoting them it's a joke.

If A&M beats Texas but then loses the CCG to Georgia, they would have 4 losses and would be out. Then it would be Texas, UGA, Tennessee are in, and if the committee wants a 4th SEC team, the most likely 9-3 teams are Ole Miss and Bama, both of whom beat South Carolina. I'm hoping there are enough 10-win teams available. Or even better, that Auburn majick's out again

Bama is the only 3 loss team that has a shot, I dont think enough chaos could ensue for 2 3 loss teams to make it. They would 100% take Bama every time over Ole Miss and South Carolina.

Bama has H2H on USCjr. But they may be playing some of the best football right now. That Clemson game is going to be interesting. Clemmens should be glad it's in Clemmens.

People want to talk shit about Indiana but Clemson seems to get a pass for basically being the same thing, they got destroyed even worse than Indiana by the 1 legit team they played and also lost by 2 scores AT HOME to fucking Louisville. Their best win is a miracle win over a Pitt team that has now lost 4 games in a row.

Truth be known, and they won't want to hear it, but Texas is the same thing. Doesn't mean they aren't good, just that we don't know.

I'd say Texas is more = to Penn State than Indiana but yea.

I see some people in other places trying to say you cant blame Texas for the SEC screwing the pooch with the scheduling, but using that logic you can't blame Indiana or Penn State for the B1G doing the same. Can't have it both ways.

Indiana is a different case than Texas/Penn State though because absolutely nobody expected them to be good enough to win 10 games even with the bad schedule.

We are going to see this every year though with the unbalanced schedules these mega conferences cause, theres always going to be a few teams who benefit a ton from it.

Agreed. I don't blame Texas, but we have been saying they got a break from the get-go. If you get a break, you can't lose games. If they lose to ATM and UGA, who is their best win? Vandy.

It is Vandy lol but at this point with everything that happened on Saturday they have a playoff spot locked in

same with Ohio State, we could fucking lose to Michigan but we are still getting into the playoff with how things have ended up now.

That's going to be a fun game to watch!
Usually, when both teams are even, Clemson wins big. Heck, even in years where Carolina was noticeably better, Clemson still wins by a blowout. I'm hoping it stays competitive throughout, or Carolina gets a big lead. If Clemson gets out front early, the Cocks go limp

Have you noticed Ohio State seems to have no clue what they are doing on defense for a lot of first drives of the game this season?

For example, against Indiana not one blitz and a couple times didn't even use all four front guys. Rourke picked them apart with time.

Then they start trying apply pressure and the game turns on its head.

yup, they played soft the first series. I had a bad feeling about how Indiana's OL would fare after the Michigan game, Indiana had trouble holding up against Michigan's DL

Theyve done it against quite a few teams this season on their first drive

I'll see your Indiana and Texas, and I'll raise you a Penn State and Miami. They haven't done any more than Indiana or Texas IMO. None have beaten teams of merit. Or at least I can't find any great wins among them. At least Indiana, Texas and Penn State lost to better teams. Miami, no.
