Best part of expanding the playoffs is that there will be fewer players opting out.

Is it though? It will just kill off bowl games as they struggle to fill all those slots anyway. And it’s more football
MATHING ARE HARD...16 team bracket, top 4 from each of the power 3, plus two wildcards.

You were just hiding your love for Notre Dame’s auto bid.MATHING ARE HARD...
Maybe not Notre Dame, were you figuring in @OregonDucks yearly Natties?16 team bracket, top 4 from each of the power 3, plus two wildcards.
There's always room for scenario village...Maybe not Notre Dame, were you figuring in @OregonDucks yearly Natties?
Let’s just go with the top 8 from each of the P2.16 team bracket, top 4 from each of the power 3, plus two wildcards.

Maybe so, but at least these playoff games were actually mean something. Bowl games are just not what they used to be.Is it though? It will just kill off bowl games as they struggle to fill all those slots anyway
The lower tier playoff games aren't going to mean shit as most will be blowouts. Quit kidding yourself.Maybe so, but at least these playoff games were actually mean something. Bowl games are just not what they used to be.
He’s got a point.I was always against it. But the college football we once new is done. Go with a legit real playoff because why not at this point.
Now there’s a new @OregonDucks scenario where one of the 2 teams playing in the B1G championship gets snowed in and Oregon happens to be in town to watch along with their gear ironically….There's always room for scenario village...
Yup. The playoff caused this. There's no way conferences would have expanded past 12-14 if there was only a slim shot at sending 1 team to the BCS title game. With 4 spots, conferences got a little more comfortable since they could send multiple teams to the playoff. And with 12 teams in the playoff, there's really no limit to how many good teams can go. The B10 and SEC will likely regularly send 3-4 teams to the playoff so who cares if there are 18 teams in the conference. At this point, I miss the BCS days
