Because we've always drafted the top 6 conference before the P12 blew up. Now it would be the top 5. Seeds 1-4 and the next highest conference champ.

Valid question. We can visit this when the time comes. Currently with the top 5 conferences we have 81 teams in the pool which is a good size.
Lot of things could things that could pop up that we can visit when the time comes like:
- What if Pac-2 gets autobid? Do we add MWC
- What if MWC? Do we include OreSt. + WashSt.
- More Conference re-alignment
- Playoffs is expanded
Yeah, will probably set up a poll to vote on best time for most ppl
Might keep the keeper deadline flexible. Maybe the day before draft

Given the scheduling alignment, I think if the MWC does get one of the auto bids, we should include Ore St and Wazzu in that scenario. You're right still a lot left that could happen.

Pac 2 cant get an auto bid as it stands. either could get an at large but there will be no recognized Pac 2 champion as 2 teams dont constitute a conference. if they rebuild then the would be eligible as a conference and just as eligible as any other conference

Just trying to get things in order before season kicksoff

I believe we've been going off schools in conferences who made the NY6 bowls. So for the 2024 season that would include SEC, BIG, B12, ACC, PAC, ND & CUSA (83 teams). Going forward in the 12-playoff era, do we based the player pool from the 5 AQs that get in the playoffs?! Seems to be the most straight forward approach

Remember you can select up to 3 players from your roster to keep for this season. No current deadline to make select keepers as of now. Deadline will probably be set close to draft date.

Week 1 starts Thursday, August 29, 2024
So we'll need to figure out a draft date before then

- Max # of keepers: 3
- It's optional to pick 0-3 keepers and I believe there will be a snake pre-draft (or first 3 rounds) to fill in keeper spots if you choose not to keep 3

I think I only have 2 that didn't get drafted, and one of those is Georgias defense.

Draft Day: I can do weekends in morning or weekdays 8 or 9 ct. Whatever works for me. Saturday morning is when we usually did it in the past, I believe.
It's optional to pick 0-3 keepers and I believe there will be a snake pre-draft (or first 3 rounds) to fill in keeper spots if you choose not to keep 3----I think the draft starts with round one with everyone, so if you don't select keepers you lose out.
@TaikoTiger I could be wrong on that but I checked the draft results 2 or 3 years ago and it is difficult to tell.

Thursday and Sunday work for me. I can do Saturday if it's from like 8-12 in the a.m. or later in the evening around 8ish or so.
Also, seems like @Nosferatu has been gone a while. I recall @Rolltide94 being good about keeping up so Id try to keep him. IIRC @huskers1217 didn't set his lineups every week.
