How many of those matchups saw the winner go on to win the natty?

Hell, back to back years the winner of Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate has gone on to win the natty

And...

In 2006, Michigan lost the Rose Bowl, and Ohio State lost in the BCS Championship Game.
In 2022, Michigan lost the Fiesta Bowl, and Ohio State lost the Peach Bowl.
In 2023, will they both lose their Bowl Game again?

We beat each other up and could not properly compete after The Game

OR

We didn't want to be there after The Game

I have to check with SEC fans to see which one I should use

That 2006 game had to have featured two of the worst teams to start 11-0 in AQ/P5 conference history. It was clear both were paper tigers heading into the game. Hoped I was wrong, but that Florida blowout win in the NCG was the most predictable thing ever.

Maybe Georgia could've played in the championship game in 2006 if they weren't busy losing to Vanderbilt LOL

Despite that really bad stretch, that’s still one of my favorite seasons of the Richt era. Ended the season with 3 straight upset wins including blowing out a top 5 Auburn team in their house which was the turning point in the rivalry where UGA took control

Can't argue there, it was a strong end of the season. You've only lost to Auburn 3 times since then, but they've also been mediocre/awful outside of those 3 teams. Another situation that makes no sense in regards to their level of failure.
