First couple months of golf season were axed for him because of COVID and all the administrative work on his plate. Then once we noticed the kids were falling into a zombie state from not interacting with anyone else, he moved into "project mode" with them so they'd have something to plan/be excited about. Now with a couple activities being back on the schedule and me coaching, most nights have been either watching Deuce play baseball or taking Coal while I coach.

Maybe the next few weeks he can get out now that baseball is over.
 
Fuck. About time to get the car packed and hit the road soon now that I've caught up on emails from Friday afternoon and the weekend. I love coming out here, but the drive home sucks.

Our schools have been "open" a week.

I wonder how long it will last.

She's still working, but instead of being in the office she's entirely at home. They have symptoms, but aren't super sick at this point. So it doesn't affect me at all because I've been working at home since March, other than a few stops in the office to grab files/materials. Super fun paying $1000/month for an office I don't use.

The sick days policy is going to be an interesting one. We are signed up for hybrid (2 days in school/3 days at home), but I assume that if the kid has a sore throat/cough/runny nose, we aren't supposed to send them. In normal years if I kept them home for those reasons, they'd be home most days. Most years I'd only keep them home for fever/vomiting/really bad sore throat.
