Final Friday (narrated by Dave Chapelle)

I do, however, intend to get my car detailed soon. I need this vehicle to have way less goldfish crackers and fruit snack remnants in it.
I have an uncle who uses an air compressor to blow out the interior of his pickup truck

Personal pride is a worthwhile investment
Lulz.

The inside of the "family car" is a goddamn hodgepodge of clothes, baby accoutrements, and food crumbs. Getting the car in for an oil change or a wash is a pain in the ass. Got better things to do than worry about something that doesn't impact the performance of the car, like a ding in the door.

What’s personal about it? It’s a hunk of metal.

My view is you play a lot of money for a vehicle. I try to take care of it. If there is a little scratch or ding I don't let it ruin my life
I try to take care of it, but I drive cars until like 200k miles. A ding here or there definitely isn’t going to bother me.

Driving into a lube place and sitting in your car for 15 mins while someone else does the work is a pain in the ass?

We need to get an oil change before we drive out on vacation. Will probably try and get it to the car wash after.

I didn't realize Alfa Romeo's could take that kind of mileage?

Ain't paying Jiffy Lube prices, breh. Firestone is fine, but they take like an hour to do it. So it's load up the kids, take both whips to Firestone, put the baby car seat in the other car, drive everyone home, repeat.

I think we hand washed my car once last year. It has to have been over a year at this point. I do get my oil changed on a schedule.

Hell with Jiffy lube and the chains. Maybe different in your neck of the woods but there are several local places that do the same services. If I do oil and filter its usually $50ish and I am out in 15 mins

Haven't hand washed in years. I actually have been getting my car serviced by the dealership, their oil change prices aren't much more than Firestone's, and they usually wash the exterior when they're done.

I know most folks don't, but I like washing my own car

Nice Choice Kobes. If you keep them serviced 200k on a Honda ain't nothin' but a thing

CR-V here
Had an Accord before this. Think I traded it in at around 225k. I’m at 146k on this one. Should give me at least a couple more years if there aren’t any major issues.
