Look at the big brain on Vita!!!Always have said, the body weight scale is a liar!
When people start to work out, they tend to gain body weight before they lose fat, because depending on age, it is commonly easier to gain muscle than to burn fat, and since muscle weighs more than fat people tend to gain before they lose when starting a workout program. Once they put on more muscle, they begin to burn the fat they eat, at a faster rate.
In essence, every muscle cell is like a clean burning furnace built for burning fat, the more muscle cells they have the better equipt they are to burning fat they ingest more readily.
It's simple really, and with that reasoning, the fat cells ingested will burn off more readily with the heavier muscle cell developed, and wont contribute to body fat they store. Once storing less of the ligther fat they would have accumulated they will become leaner.
They could actualy do all of this and still not lose a pound, but their clothes will fit the better, and they will see & feel the difference in the mirror when they get out of the shower.
Just kidding....
