First "Classic Movie" you saw in a theater when it was first released/year

Return of the Jedi

I was uncontrollably amped for that movie as a wee lad, but my parents couldn't afford a trip to the theater. My grandfather took me.

The first "classics" I remember seeing in the theater were the Great Outdoors and Christmas Vacation.

My grandma took me to both.

Oh, and Back to the Future 2.

Remember standing line, on the sidewalk, waiting to get into this one.

I remember that it was one of the first movies I saw without an adult and I had to go out to take a piss about an hour and a half into it as my type 1 diabetes was just about to be diagnosed (looks like it came out about 5 weeks before I went into the hospital).

On the positive side I was able to refill my drink while I was out there and it was Diet Coke anyway

First movie I remember seeing without an adult was Tremors.

Those sand worms scared the hell out of me. Front row. My cousin and I thought we were badasses.

I don't know. I remember seeing O Brother Where Art Thou in a theater, but I'm sure someone took me to see Lion King or something as a little kid and I don't remember.
