Ham's dancing in her first professional show, starting today. Proud of the kid. We've got tickets for next weekend.

Hope to have some time this weekend to get stuff down from the attic to start decorating for Christmas. Looks like we'll have good weather for it on Saturday, hope I can get the roof lights done at least. Also need to change Tank's crib into a toddler bed. He's been climbing in and out of his crib with little effort this past week, so I might as well not make it harder for the kid.

I do not miss those dance days. Always felt like a perv waiting for my cute kid to dance around in a tutu, but first you have to watch the teens bump and grind in booty shorts... and I'm in the audience alone because the wife is in the back fixing hair and makeup for a fucking 6 year old.

This is an actual theatrical production, not the dance team crap. I've only had to deal with the recitals for dance, been able to avoid the competitions thus far.

I have to time for my kids swim meets. I have to look for a light to start a timing that is directly behind a 10 year olds bathing suit...

my kid's middle school meets are stopwatch timed, but everybody just starts on the horn/beep/buzzer. Her summer swim meets use the Swimmingly app on your phone that syncs with the start time, so you only have to stop the timer when the kid finishes. It's pretty cool, but not without it's own quirks... like no dark mode so the screen is full white all the time just killing everybody's battery.

but I hate timing either way so I sign up to be the stroke and turn judge.

Versailles is a traditional power seems like they are there almost every year. But Kirtland has been strong

Marion Local trucked Dalton, who is in our county, yesterday. We played Coldwater in the State Championship in '98. Great programs!
