I've never had a stainless steel dishwasher. My first one was white. I have a yellow one now, but wearing out quick.Morning. Broke down and bought a new dishwasher yesterday. Old one still washes dishes like a boss, but is starting to fall apart. I replaced a couple of parts for the top spin arm, but now the bottom water arm partially broke and I can't find the part anywhere. It seems to stay in place for now, but who knows when it will break more or just stop working. And, apparently the new appliance shortage is dishwashers. Some of the models we were looking at were so far backordered that the store couldn't tell us when they'd get one in stock for us.
Just need it to last the rest of the week, though. One of the models we liked was in stock, just in stainless steel instead of white. Doesn't matter to me what color everything is, but I guess as we start replacing the stove and fridge, it's going to be with stainless this time.
When you had the top parts replaced, did you get them augmented, or just enough to reduce sag? My yellow dishwasher could use larger top parts.
The white dishwasher was a much better sandwich maker.
