My office printer is d-e-a-d. It won't even turn on no mo'. Why today - no storm this weekend or anything?

It's just a shit day. Fuck this day.

My friend just texted to tell me her husband set a rat trap on their deck and he said he thought he heard something early this morning & the dog was acting up so she looked outside and the thing is moving!!


It was a baby Opossum! (happy @beardown07 ??)

Nah, her husband set it free. He said it looked okay.

Years ago, I heard something creeping in my backyard (had been hearing creepies for a few days, and the dog barking inexplicably) so I snuck out of bed and quickly flashed on the light, to see a goddamn opossum walking on the fence (5ft or less easement) like a cat. That was waaaaaay too close for comfort for me, so I screamed at him. He freaked out, froze and fell off the fence like a bag of rocks 🤣
 
Yeah, I like possums. They're ugly as hell but don't get the rabies.

I wish I had one in my yard. They eat ticks, don't have rabies, and are just generally cool af.

Moved to an upper middle-class neighborhood 2 years ago. Last year someone was murdered in the apartment complex south of our neighborhood. Last night someone was shot in the neighborhood east of us.
