Wow man good to hear he is ok relatively speaking. What happened to the driver of the truck? Any charges?

lotta bad drivers out there who just don't pay attention. That's a big reason why I won't road bike

As of now, no.

Driver was very cooperative and very helpful to my nephew at scene. Few other witnesses so my sister is going to get police report as my nephews recollection of events are a little off, understandably so

He probably wasn't wearing his safety Zubaz to make him more visible

I'm waiting to hear more details on accident from my sister who wants to see the police report and get witness accounts of what happened.

I'm taking my nephew to gopher game next saturday so will be curious his side of story as well

Morning all.

TGIF.
 
Got hit by a monster storm last night. Lost power for a few hours. Woke up to at least 6 trees down, including one across our driveway. Nothing like starting your morning having to cut yourself out.

Schools are starting late due to some of the schools having significant damage, although they haven’t ruled out no school at all. And we all are tired as fuck because we had to wake up the kids and book it to the basement at 3am and none of us could fall back asleep after. Going to be a long day.

Tank is being a little bitch about sleeping. He's fine once he falls asleep, but he freaks out unless someone is in the room with him until he falls asleep.

Can't wait for this phase to pass.
