Fish's Fantastic Friday Thread

Tank is being a little bitch about sleeping. He's fine once he falls asleep, but he freaks out unless someone is in the room with him until he falls asleep.

Can't wait for this phase to pass.
i get it. you close your eyes and they may never open again. life is fleeting.

The 4-packs are pints. So 16 oz per can.

Typically the same cost as 6 packs of 12 oz. so in the end, they screw you out of some booze.

not sure why so many craft breweries turned to pints. Not a fan of it.

We tried this book that allegedly is supposed to put people to sleep when you read it to them. All it served to do was put us to sleep and he just laid there awake.
forward by Bill Cosby.

Only have to fill/seal 4 cans instead of 6. Also only have to buy 4 can ends.

I do not get the appeal. Makes about as much sense as me opening a place where you pay to hammer nails

you telling me you don't want to throw a hammer or a knife at a block of wood?

What if they pasted a picture of somebody you hate to the block of wood?

How old is he? Mine usually fall asleep playing on their iPads.
well, that's certainly some father of the year shit.

my youngest usually gets tuckered out choking the life out of the transient of the week chained up in the basement. sure, i get annoyed when she does it, but it's nice to be able to bond around something.

it's a discussion we had on tHoop a while back about whether it is lame to bring your own clubs

it's like bringing your own ball to the bowling alley
why the fuck wouldn't you bring your own ball to the alley? it's the one place you could use it for its intended purpose.

fucking idgit.

This sounds like an Esotericky Botallico bit.

Again, my advice (you get what you pay for)

Follow a nighttime schedule. Read a book, do those things you are already doing, all as preparation for beddy bye time. Make it a strict routine.

Put him to bed, comfort him, assure him your are nearby. When he cries, wait a few minutes, then go into the room and comfort him for a few seconds. Leave. Repeat until he falls asleep. Eventually he will learn to fall asleep and stay asleep on his own. It will be painful at first, but worth it in the long run. Right now you are reinforcing his need for you to be present in his room, which will likely eventually end up with him sharing the bed with you and your wife.
this is all covered on me and @ill podcast

Went to the viewing last night and didn't talk to really anyone. Those folks seemed like they were the "we think we're high society city folk" that aren't high society. Guess that's just the Columbus, OH in them.
