Money is an issue for every player, as the NFL is not a given. When you see Stroud driving a 200k Mercedes G Wagon -- you definitely see dollar figures.
And while getting a QB picked is great -- Ryan Day's starting QBs have struggled in the NFL once they don't have WR's who are light years better than the CBs covering them. Haskins and Fields combined threw for 36 tds and 36 ints thus far.
I think your WR's are who are being produced at an elite level. I think your QB's are riding their coattails.
Lol Ryan Days QBs have struggled and named two people. Fields scouting report pre draft literally said he would be a two season project and despite his passing struggles still singlehandedly had his team in winnable games. 6 straight games he put up some crazy numbers, they scored 27 point or more and lost all but one of them.
Are you also implying that there is somewhere out there that McCord could transfer to with a coach with some proven track record of producing successful NFL QBs? It's a gamble either way, but at this point, the bigger gamble would be to transfer. Now if he loses the job this year, then I would fully expect him to go
