I think that’s what a lot of the money and study has been going towards....being able to diagnose and (hopefully) treat CTE.Good point. We should identify who is a candidate for CTE, monitor them closely and if symptoms arise melt them down.
I’m sure this tragedy will raise the question....why aren’t we better able to identify sufferers yet?
I’ll just leave it with this is another instance that makes it hard to stay a big fan of football. I’m mostly able to suppress that and enjoy a game. But, once a guy is wobbling around on rubber legs after a hit it really takes the fun out of the game remembering these situations lead to struggles later....and possible tragedy for others.
