He ended his career in Cleveland and I don't remember that at all. I was a Red Sox fan when he was with the Red Sox too, so you'd think I'd have some recall. Getting old's a bitch.

Interesting. I played little league against Johnny. He was the one you were freaked getting in the box against. He threw a ton....but every once in a while he let one go like Ricky Vaughn without the black frame glasses. Probably a good indicator of why he wasn’t a major league pitcher.

Bunted on him once and he bare handed/quick sling to first....right off my helmet. Cracked that fucker good. Ha.
