Looks like they stopped the clock. They've got the safety care making laps by itself, and it's producing a lot of spray. Just don't seem em getting this in other than maybe a couple token laps so half points can be awarded.

I'd be pissed if I waited hours in the rain to watch and handfull of safety car laps.

I don't understand why the couldn't race tomorrow. It's not like the next race is in Singapore, it's in the Netherlands, they're in Belgium now. And I don't understand how they can declare a winner and award points with zero green flag laps. But they love em some ties in Europe too, I disagree with how they handle most sports.
 
But the whole situation kinda pisses me off. Been off for a few weeks, I was genuinely looking forward to this race.

The consensus on Twitter and F1 forums seems to be that F1 went ahead and declared it official to avoid having to do refunds to fans, and probably advertisers too.

The logistics argument is bogus IMO, it's 180 miles, not the other side of the world.

Shitty way to do it, but I'm glad for Russell.

If I were in the stands yesterday, it would have been the last time I paid money to go to a race. I would have been pissed.

the funny thing is how crazy the Dutch go over him. Yes his dad is Dutch and he decided to race under the Dutch flag, but he was actually born in and grew up in Belgium (his mom is Belgian).

Bottas leaving Mercedes to join Alfa Romeo next season. I expect to hear Russell to Mercedes soon.

He raced well and should have had a couple of podiums but got spun out by Hamilton a couple of times. He came in mid season, did well, and continued the next season, but I don't think he really got a fair shot . RedBull only brought in Perez because of the money he brings from Carlos Slim, don't get me wrong, Perez is a good driver, but if given the full chance in the same car, I think Albon would've been just as good, maybe better. Also, they could have moved him to AlphaTauri like they did Gasly, but brought in Tsoumada, again because of the money he brings from Honda (I'm not a fan of pay drivers).

Besides, I'm not a fan of Red Bull, specifically because of Horner. Verstappen is a great driver, I just wish he raced for someone else.
 
He's a guy who goes backwards in races.

RB still have right of refusal on him.
 
Verstappen and Hamilton make contact again. Think Verstappen was most at fault. Luckily both can continue with no damage.
 
Both McLarens having a good run, let’s hope they keep it up.
