The ratings games are on Saturdays. Hence the "scrub night" title.
The Big 10 made more than the SEC for FY 2023 to the tune of $880 million to $853 million.
Moving a game that would typically be buried on Saturday BTN or FS1 with lower ratings to Friday night on FOX (without competition) is extra gravy. They're games that weren't picked for Saturday by FOX, CBS, NBC.
How many are gonna tune in to Mississippi St vs South Carolina on the SEC Network on Saturday when they're up against top games on FOX, CBS, NBC, ABC, ESPN?
BTW... When is the gutless SEC Network gonna start reporting their viewership ratings anyway, so we can see how their Saturday scrub games match-up?

I enjoy the Thursday and Friday games. If it’s a worthwhile team playing or a decent match up and I’m around, I’ll watch. It’s CFB, it’s better than nothing.
My kids are in sports on Saturday or our family will be out and about because it’s the weekend, so I often either miss games or have to record the big ones and watch them later. Weekday games are a bonus for me. If it’s a crap match up or a blow out, don’t watch. At least you have the option.

How'd they come up with the 2.074 number? If you avg out their games that were rated it comes to 3.55 million viewers(Bama, Ole Miss, LSU, UGA, A&M, Cal, UMass). Is there some sort of way they are factoring in an SECN audience?

I understand. But I can assure you the local high school would love your support. You'd have to get to know some of the players and their families for it to mean much. That can be difficult for newcomers sometimes.

I'd take my kids to their 'eventual' high school home games when they were in Elementary and Jr high school. I'd watch the game and they'd run around with their friends.
In high school my daughter played clarinet in their wind ensemble orchestra and also in the marching band. My son played on the football team, so I attended all games home and away.
I haven't been to a high school game since they graduated.
I haven't been to my own high school alma mater football games since I graduated over 40 years ago.

Yeah 11pm is tough as an East coaster. Shit, I’m still praying our trip to Tucson isn’t 11pmThe 11pm game has the Word Series as a lead in. They should have made that week the UCLA/Washington game. There won't be a lot of interest outside the west coast in that game. I know a few Rutgers fans and they are pissed at the 11pm kickoff. As an east coast Duck fan, they won't get any sympathy from me

That website puts 0 viewers into the calculation if you're on a network that doesn't report their numbers. Perhaps SECN isn't reporting their numbers. I know PACN didn't report their numbers either.
