Are all Radlers only grapefruit? My old boss turned me onto them at the beginning of the pandemic - so refreshing! I had a few, then forgot about them. I've been in a few stores in the last couple weeks and I can't find the brand anymore. I saw one from Stiegl but it says it's a "malt beverage". Are they all malted? Is it even a beer? They're really good as mixers, too

I think the malt beverage thing is for brands that sell in multiple states, as some states have goofy laws where anything over a certain ABV can't be called beer, for some goofy reason or another.

Interesting. I'm not a fan of eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice, but these little suckers are pretty delish. Lemon sounds awful. I should try it.

I've had that Two Pitchers one and I liked it, but that's a good link thar... I'll have to see if I can find any of those other brands around here.

Last week I was so excited to go to the beach that I broke a 24 hr fast by doing a 2oz shot of Costco tequila then in the span of about 90 mins drank 7 beers. I was doing fine til I got rolled by a wave and came up all dizzy and drunk n shit and was down for the count.
Fucking sucks getting old.
I used to drink 7 beers just to get baseline for the club.

The one good thing is that I'm such a lightweight now that two glasses of wine and I'm buzzing pretty hard. A shot and a beer? Golden. Used to do two shots and three beers to feel anything.
Yeah, I think now the most drinking I do is on a Sunday during the NFL season, probably 6-8 beers between noon and nine.
We used to tailgate at Phillies games, play beer pong and flip cup for hours before game time, and show up completely hammered and use the game to get sober. The only thing that sucked was the one year we couldn't actually get seats, and had to get SRO tickets. Apparently, being blind drunk and wandering around aimlessly leads to a full half of our group getting kicked out for various reasons.

An old dude at a bar was telling me about shit that used to go on at Comiskey park back in the 70's. He was telling me about Harry Caray showing up after Cubs games and several times he was stumbling around the third base stands with a six-pack of Budweiser and there were several times when bodies were flung onto the field during games.
