I thought about the preemptive sick day but thought that'd be kind of silly since it had basically no effect on my wife. I'm having trouble concentrating and my motor skills are slightly off. It is like being buzzed but without the fun.

I couldnt imagine taking a sick day when working from home for the shot, especially for a little bit of achiness and blahs.

if the company is offering it and the state is giving them money for letting it happen, take advantage of it.

it isn't about "I'm a man, I don't take sick days."

I'd say we have essentially the exact same symptoms. We had the different shot though.

I mean, if I wasn't a keyboard worker, maybe. Because the aches were annoying if I had to do real work.

But I can handle 1-2 days of sitting on my ass typing on a keyboard without being able to concentrate optimally. It's not tough.

I mean I worked while I had COVID because I couldn't take advantage of the 14-days off the company offered for having it. I would have for sure taken a few days off because, why not?

instead I had to fill in for my boss even when I felt like pure shit.

The broad got absolutely buckled by round 2 of Moderna though. She got it in the early morning and was completely fine that day. Woke up next day and she couldn't function for shit. In her case, I'd understand taking time off but...she's a broad.

I'm not planning on taking off work after the second, but I might work from home if I don't feel well.
