It's cold at Roland Garros.

If that's 8 Celsius, that equals 46 Fahrenheit.

so weird to see Kei unranked

Venus Williams has been bounced from the 1st Round, losing in straight sets to Anna Karolina Schmiedlova. 2020 has not been kind to Williams.

Haven't watched yet today. Here are my predictions.

Men's Draw:

Djokovic's Quarter:

Djokovic vs. Tiafoe QF: Not sure how well Tiafoe will do, so I'll say Djokovic in 3. Hope Tiafoe can at least win a set.

Medvedev's Quarter:

This section is loaded.

Tsitsipas vs. Shapovalov 4th round: Shapovalov in 4.

Kevin Anderson vs. Medvedev 4th round: Anderson in 4. Tall players can do well on clay.

Shapovalov vs. Anderson QF: Shapovalov in 4. I've never seen Shapovalov have an easy 3 set win, lol.

Thiem's Quarter:

Cilic vs. Thiem 1st round: Wow, lol. Cilic hasn't played well at a major in a while. Thiem in 4.

Wawrinka vs. Murray 1st round: Another wow! Wawrinka in 3.

Monfils is in this section too.

Wawrinka vs. Thiem 4th round: I'll root for Wawrinka because I still want to see him play well, but it will probably be Thiem in 4.

Thiem to the SF.

Nadal's Quarter:

Isner vs. Nadal 4th round: Can Isner pay back Nadal for their 2011 first round match? Probably not. Nadal in 3.

Nadal vs. Zverev QF: Nadal in 3.

Djokovic vs. Shapovalov SF: I've picked someone other than Djokovic a few times this year. I don't want to do that right now. Djokovic in 3.

Thiem vs. Nadal SF: Nadal in 4.

Djokovic vs. Nadal Finals: I'll still go with Nadal. Nadal in 4.

Women's Draw:

Halep's Quarter:

Halep vs. Gauff QF
: Have no idea if Gauff can make it this far, but oh well. Have to still go with Halep in 2 at this point.

Svitolina's Quarter:

Azarenka vs. Venus 2nd round: Hope it's a good match, but I'll take Azarenka in 2.

Azarenka vs. Serena 4th round: I have no idea. Azarenka in 2.

Azarenka vs. Svitolina QF: Azarenka in 3.

Kenin's Quarter:

I have no idea who comes out of this section. I'll say Sabalenka.

Karolina Pliskova's Quarter:

Kerber vs Kvitova 4th round: I'll pick Kerber, because she hasn't won this major yet. Kerber in 2.

Karolina Pliskova vs. Kerber QF: I guess I'll stick with Kerber again. Kerber in 3.

Halep vs. Azarenka SF: Let's go with Azarenka! Azarenka in 3.

Sabalenka vs. Kerber SF: Kerber in 2.

Azarenka vs. Kerber Finals: I don't want either player to lose. They're both over 30. I'll pick Kerber, because she's not playing as well overall, so she might not get many more chances.

Kerber in 2.

Venus Williams has been bounced from the 1st Round, losing in straight sets to Anna Karolina Schmiedlova. 2020 has not been kind to Williams.

She should just retire

Big upset win for Coco

Players bitching about the weather is comical.

Thiem vs. Schwartzman:

I too thought Thiem was going to win in 4, and then didn't know how he lost in 5.

I haven't been able to watch Swiatek yet. Looking at her box scores, she is blowing everyone out in the sets she wins. Wow.

I haven't been able to watch a full match since the first day, due to all of the MLB and NBA games also being on.

But now that the SFs are here, I need to make some time for full matches. Since the players who are playing the best, will be facing off.

I'm rooting for Kvitova on the Womens side. Outside of Serena, Sharapova, Halep, and Henin, I don't think anyone else has won both the French and Wimbledon, on the Womens side, this century. Kvitova could do it if she wins the French.

I would have rooted for Clijsters to finally win the French, but she didn't play this year.

I'm not sure what makes Swiatek have these dominating set scores.

Congrats to her.

It was cool to see Kenin hit drop shot return winners, in the SFs and Finals. I can't remember if I've seen a player do that before, or I don't remember the last time I saw that.

the old man likes the cold weather..... 6-0 6-2 ass kicking so far

Rafa!! 100-2 at Roland Garros. Most impressive sports stat ever?

Rafa just crushed Novak. Djokovic tried to make a match out of the third set, but I think he saw the writing on the way and being 2 sets down against Nadal on clay was not something he was going to overcome.

just really impressive.
