Car dealership was really putting the hard sell on me buying an extended warranty on the Terrain I bought a few weeks ago. I declined.

The band director when I was in school, I used to see him at the Elks club a lot after I got old enough to go to bars. Everyone at the Elks called him Flute Tooter.

A lot of times, those gigs are prioritized for people who "know the community". Hell, in some towns, if someone who graduated from the school applies for a job, it's theirs over an "outsider", regardless of qualifications.

I'd be all for making Nov 1st & 2nd national holidays to honor the lives of the dead (Day of the Dead also All Saint's Day, & All Souls Day). If they add Halloween with it, even better.
