We are going to the tree farm tomorrow. Love cutting my own down.

Hell of a night last night. Got home from my brother’s funeral last night around 5:30. Took a quick nap and showered and then Mr. Kobe and I headed downtown to catch a show from my favorite band…had the tickets for months. Lil’ Kobe was babysitting the boys.

Just as we were pulling into downtown Minneapolis, Lil’ Kobe calls in a panic and tells us one of the dogs, while trying to steal food off the stove, somehow lit a burner and it started the pizza box and cake box on fire and that the fire department was on the way because she called 911 after getting the boys out of the house. She got them out to the mailbox and waited for the police to get there.

When we got home the fire was out and the only damage was to the pizza and the cake. A lot of smoke, but because it was on the stove too and there was nothing else to burn around the stove, it burned itself out. So no damage other than our house smelling like a campfire.

So Mr. Kobe stayed home and I drove back up to Minneapolis for the show. And the police showed back up with a new birthday cake after I left. And now Lil’ Kobe is going to get a commendation from the fire chief at the next city council meeting.
Is that when CPS shows up to take them?

the one I used to go to as a kid had a sweet zipline

it was called Chris Smith's Tree Farm

from what I had heard, it is due to a cutback in planting something like 10 yrs ago
Really? So apparently not pandemic related? I live about 5 mins from a Christmas Tree farm and they seem well stocked

If I were to go the au naturel route, there's a farm near here that has a brewery on site. They do pumpkins in the fall and trees in December. Would absolutely go there to get my trees.

However, since I am allergic to the mold that forms on Krimpus trees, we have a fakey. Got it down out of the attic after Thanksgiving.

Hmm, Krimpet Tree sounds like a winner.

do you revolve everything around if there is a brewery nearby?
