This actually speaks well of Nebraska. Yes, Frost had to go. But if it had been anyone else they would have waited and saved the $$$ on the payout. Scott Frost is a Favorite Son and it wasn't like he didn't try to win. It just didn't work out. So they pulled the trigger but didn't kneecap the guy; they put one right between his eyes before it got any worse and sent him on his way with a fat payday. These things are never easy but they did it with as much compassion as was possible under the circumstances.
