FSU files for exit from ACC

If it prevents the death knell in the ACC as a power conference sooner then what it would be they won’t have a choice. But again, stupid things are done all the time.

lol

FSU and the ACC will settle. The real questions is for how much

lol

Keep thinking that’s absolute. The ACC has no incentive to settle and they know this.

As I've beens saying for a while, FSU won't be in the ACC by 2026.

Argue with your mamas. Just make sure to say duckboy33 was right when it happens

Again, stupid things happen all the time. My argument was why the ACC won’t just settle, at least for the next couple of years. 5 years from now is a whole different story (buyout wise) and things can change quick. But right now, nah they’ll fight.

That’s UTx, pal. UT is in Knoxville, TN and a founding member of the SEC.

UT is TEXAS... get used to it..

BTW, apologies in advance for making you drop a notch when the real UT comes in next season :)

The first paragraph in that article indeed backs up what I said. You don’t get a B12 check for the 24/25 season nor an SEC one as the article states. Convoluting that we didn’t pay a dime is humorous.
lol that's the only part you get.. and 20 mil of that goes to ESPN... meanwhile UT and ou still get it's full payment from ESPN.. what they won't get is the full SEC share in year 1 (next year) since it's bigger than what the Big12 payout is.

lol we left for nothing man

So you admit you are getting less money then you would have and yet still proclaim you left for free?

Id say id miss the delusion of Tejas fans but we’ll still see it regularly in the new conference.

i hear this but it's an open secret that they are willing to lay in beds with some saudi oil money in private equity to make this move happen
It’s a shitty way to go about it but if they do indeed have an in one of the P2s it’s a more then wise investment.

bro i said we are making the same amount lol.. but that same amount isn't as big as the new SEC payout for next season..which we won't get.. but it's still the same amount as if we were staying for the final year of the Big12 deal lol

well don't be shocked when the white guy with paint and dressed like an indian begins to ride on a camel to get the crowd fired up

We don’t know how much that amount is that ESPN is paying. You proclaiming y’all left for free is humorous.

Do what ya gotta do to get where ya gotta get.
