FSU files for exit from ACC

It wasn't about ACC, according to reports it was about that QB injury.

But we all know that if it was the QB at Alabama, they would still be in.

The QB excuse was just a convenient excuse to ensure a SEC team made it in.
Wow, my alma mater created a deep impact on the college football world.

FSU in the B1G would be insane. I’ve waited my whole life for the B1G to look like what it’s gonna look like next season.

My friends and I used to do this on XBox and it was the most fun thing ever.

In the summer barstool reported that Oregon, Washington, Clemson and FSU were coming to the Big Ten. Maybe they were just wrong about the timing?

I can see getting our cut of that $572M like winning the lottery. That will buy some serious NIL commercial time.

I love the part where NOBODY can actually SEE the ACC GOR unless they personally go to the ACC office, be supervised while reading it, and be restricted from taking pictures or copies ect. of what part you are interested in to take with you ect.

Perhaps FSU should employ Nick Cage, I hear he is good at breaking in national treasure type vaults ect….

BTW, apologies in advance for making you drop a notch when the real UT comes in next season :)

Bevo is a steer. Let that sink in for a bit. Your mascot is neutered.

I found a copy, behind a painting of Dogs Playing Poker that I picked up at a yard sale.

just shows how the ACC doesn't give a shit about FSU lol... they wouldn't be doing this to the teams on tobacco road

FSU without Bobby Bowden isn’t the same type of jewel in the ACCs crown. And they’re still kinda the new kid in the conference.

But their value from football alone still has to be more than Duke total. I assume anyway.

if you let FSU tell you.. they are a top 5 brand and the ACC should be bending over backwards to make them happy lol

ACC teams going in to read the GOR

Lol if that were even true, why would have some of those same schools voted to allow SMU, Stanford and Cal into the ACC instead of trying to break up the conference. Just don’t see where all those teams would end up.

They do belong in something bigger than a basketball conference.

This season kinda proved that.

They aren’t Top Five, but the losers they beat this season should focus on March moving forward.

truth be told, the ACC dying would have upset/disappointed me 10-15 years ago, but that isn't the case today. John Swofford was a horrible commish who made cronie deals based off the idea that the ACC couldn't die.

the current guy, Jim Phillips, was dealt a bad hand. he wasn't the guy that signed a horrible media contract, nor was he the guy that made a deal with Raycom Sports well past their expiration date as a media entity just because his son worked there. and even then, i would give Phillips an F for job performance.

he did nothing to promote FSU's worthiness for the CFB playoff and he gave a very mild response after FSU was snubbed. He moved the ACC headquarters out of Greensboro, a move that has done nothing for the conference except piss traditionalists off. He's now talking about moving the ACC women's tournament out of Greensboro, where it has been every year for the past 24 seasons. and it does very well for a women's tournament. Pretty sure the men's tournament is next. Dude doesn't like Greensboro, despite that being the best location for ACC sports. At this point, Greensboro is making more revenue off the NCAA than the ACC.

in a way, i hope the ACC does die and gets put out of its misery. it's not the same conference I grew up with. i'm not sure how anyone can view what has transpired in the past 20-30 (really since the SEC poached Arkansas) years as a positive for college sports.

I'm not an expert in law, but it does seem like FSU's case is retarded, but only time will tell.

find someone that loves you as much as @CoalTrain loves obvious bullshit bait.

NC State voted to let SMU, Cal and Stanford into the conference. They know they have no future without the ACC. They aren't going to vote to kill it.
