FSU files for exit from ACC

They should have been $100 million in the hole each to the Big 12, dumbass.

They don't have to pay that to the Big 12. They don't have to pay that to anybody.

They aren't taking a fucking "hit" on anything. They're walking away smelling like a rose.
BULL FUCKING SHIT they aren’t taking a hit. Is it as much as it could have been? Hell no, that doesnt mean they are leaving for nothing retard. ESPN isn’t paying them 30+ million each for a transition fee. No fucking chance. They take a hit albeit not as much as it could have been for 2024/2025 season. That’s not leaving for nothing.

EsPn hAs nOtHiNg tO Do wItH iT…………

Menawhile espn is the reason it was done.

You're literally too fucking stupid to debate on this.

One more time for the back of the class........... The Big 12 is getting "nothing" for letting OU/tx break the GOR.

Not only do OU/tx NOT have to pay $100 million (each) to the Big 12 for an early exit penalty, they're getting paid for joining the SEC.

They're laughing all the way to the bank.

Can you do basic maffs?

So now you’re moving goal posts. The argument wasnt the B12 is getting nothing you flaming idiot.

It was OU and Texas are leaving for nothing. There is nothing to suggest the transition fee espn is paying them for 24/25 is anywhere close to the $30+ million they’d make staying that last Year in the B12.

Sure they can take the hit (small as it may be) for a year. It’s still not nothing. My entire point.

Should have been, never debated At all.

Do you know how to read?

It doesn't matter how much OU/tx gets paid in 2024/2025.

They Don't have to pay the $100 million exit penalty.

This is complete BS as it illustrates my point entirely. AGAIN They are taking a hit (albeit a small one likely) for that season. It’s still a hit and still them not leaving for nothing. Understand?
They Don't have to pay the $100 million exit penalty.
NEVER DEBATED

Are you having a nice Christmas? You seem grumpy tonight

Big 12 distribution $44 million.

Big 12 penalty for leaving one year early $100 million+.

However, OU/tx doesn't have to pay the Big 12 one thin fucking dime.

Oh yeah.... "OU/tx taking a hit here." LMFAO!!!!

Can you do basic maffs? Are there too many zeros involved?

$44 million was last seasons payout. It’ll continue to rise.

They aren’t going to be making whatever they would have for the 24/25 season in the B12.

Just Because they lose not as much as they should have doesn’t mean it’s not a hit.

Understand yet Cement head?

yeah when the athletic dropped that article.. I was shocked.. ESPN really used their leverage for their two schools move to the SEC
Yep Quasi Golden Rule. Whoever pays the gold gets to make the rules. ESPN said we’re paying the freight so here’s how it is going to work.

NCst was a No that changed to a yes only after they realized Daddy Tar Heel wasn’t taking them to greener pastures. It’s not like they were team ACC forever.
They realized they are fucked without the ACC. Not sure how that contradicts anything I posted.

I mean its an idea

Gawd you're stupid.

OU/tx are not going to be paying $100 million+ penalty (each) for leaving before the 24/25 season either like the GOR specified.

The Big 12 distributions to OU/yx weren't going to be $200 million+ for the 24/25 season.

OU/tx lost absolutely nothing for shitting all over that GOR. A simple balance sheet shows that.

It's the Big 12 that lost over $200 million in penalty fees.

Your personal finances must be a fucking train wreck.

I mean its an idea

At that point, it would be much easier for the ACC to just add OSU, WSU and the others that are wanted. 8 of those teams will be in the ACC next year.

No you fucking imbecile, the B12 wasn’t relying on that $200+ million to pay their members. The B12 still is getting their media rights deal + whatever else from the playoffs and march madness. The $200 million was just extra.

TX/OU is getting paid by NEITHER the B12 nor SEC for 24/25 media rights. ESPN is paying them a transition fee. If you are dumb enough to believe (and you’ve certainly proved that you are) that transition fee will be the same or more then they would have made in the B12 for that year then I can’t help you.

One last time for the retard from Nebraska, my argument is TEXAS AND OU DIDNT LEAVE FOR NOTHING. It has not once been the B12 wasnt ass raped by ESPN over this. Everyone can see they were.

Kliavkoff is sure to be fired soon.
The implosion wasn't entirely his fault, but he fucked up by jumping on the side of the departing 10 against WSU/OSU. Not sure what he thought he was going to gain there other then getting his full contract paid, but he could have handled that once the departing 10 were removed from the board. It's like he didn't even have an atty to advise him that his own words/actions regarding USC/UCLA/Colorado were going to be used against him in court. He was fine removing those three from the board and penalizing their distributions..... Until he wasn't.

No way they get ACC teams. Those teams would be better off going it alone as the ACC without FSU/Clemson.
