Everything he is does is trolling and for his company. It isn't a coincidence he has multiple OSU guys working for him. He gives them tons of material to use.

He is like a frat guy who never grew up. He uses that mindset to draw in all the other people with that mentality. In reality -- the guy is so damn smart, but if you just watch his barstool stuff, you'd think he was missing brain cells.

That video is the most embarrassing thing ever ... they didn't want that smoke. By the way, I would feel the same way. Who wouldn't want FSU instead of Bama?

You UM honks that are about to respond, let me help you out. Last year I was pissed because we drew tOSU instead of TCU. Although you lost to TCU, you saw us beat them in the worst bowl loss ever. We should have had them in the semis, being ranked #1. But, I quickly realized I'd rather have a month to prep for tOSU, knowing we would then presumably have Michigan, a team we trucked the year before. Be glad you got Bama with a month to prepare. Better than getting them with 10 days to prepare.

Everyone wanted FSU. No one wants Bama. Texas and Washington don't want Bama.

I wanted Washington, as they are the best matchup for us. I'm with Bama though. There are no free passes at this point. Anyone you play is going to be good.

I think it was the same reaction everyone had. No undefeated P5 conference champion had ever been left out of the CFP.

The only people cheering the Alabama selection was Alabama fans and SEC slappies. Everyone else had a reaction to that pick that wasn't cheering. I felt terrible, as my nephew goes to FSU. He said they were ready to riot in Tallahassee.

I knew Bama was getting in, I just figured they'd hilariously screw Texas instead of leaving a undefeated FSU out. I was rooting for that outcome, can you imagine the level of meltdown it woulda caused the Texas folks?

This is the order i would want my horns to be paired up in the CFP;

UM (cause that would be an easy opening game.. McCord left a lot of points on the field due to inexperience/butterflies/LowIQ)
BAMA--Milroe ain't beating us
UDub- Pennix can expose our secondary with his shots deep.. Gonna need the defense to come up with 2 turnovers.. hardest match up for us by a mile

I was willing to save judgement on FSU for after their conference title game, and after that game I really did not want to see them in the playoff. They could barely move the ball on a mediocre Louisville defense that had given up 30+ points in back to back games to Miami and Kentucky. Like I said above, Michigan probably woulda beat them in a like 31-0 bore fest.

It is all subjective. Only people saying Georgia belongs in are those who are fans of the school. What happened last year and the year before has zero bearing on this year. Georgia is a completely different team.

The reaction to Bama being number 4, like the one Michigan made, was made by the overwhelming majority of CFB fans when the pick was announced. Not because it was Bama, but because they actually left out an undefeated P5 conference champ for a team ranked below them.

I didn't think they'd do it. But after watching FSU stumble and bumble trying to move the ball at all with the backup against a mediocre Louisville defense, i'm not shocked they came to the conclusion that FSU wasn't top 4 caliber without Travis. Especially after they saw Texas destroy Okie State and Bama control a lot of game against the #1 team.

LOL ... your players weren't groaning because they felt sorry for FSU. They were groaning because they don't want the Bama smoke and thought they would get the easy out. Everyone knows that.

Yep lol. I Guarantee Michigan went to bed thinking and celebrating that they were playing FSU, then they acted like they saw a ghost when Bama popped up on the screen instead of FSU.

Nobody went to bed knowing what the CFP was going to do. That is why it was so talked about and why everyone tuned in to see. It is why you saw the reaction you did.

This is the only time the CFP even came into the play with the 4 teams and the only time they had more than 4 teams who had a shot. Hell -- most years, they don't even have 3 teams who deserve it.

I couldn't give a shit about FSU, but I definitely felt terrible for them.

And the first thing out of my mouth was DAAAAAAAAMN, not because we were playing Bama, but they actually took away the NC shot of an undefeated P5 champion.

I knew someone was getting screwed for Bama, it was either gonna be FSU or Texas, so it didn't really surprise me in the end. There's no way Bama was getting left out.

I am not the only one here saying that, and it was all over X ... that video was posted hundreds of times with everyone laughing at it.

You are being a homer and wanting it to be something it's not. No player when they say Bama announced groaned because in their minds they were saying, "oh, poor FSU, no way an undefeated conference champ should be left out of the CFP." C'mon.

The groan was "oh, fuck, we thought we had a bye with FSU and now instead we have to play Bama ... fuck."
