LOL ... I really don't want to take it further. We both got a little off track. He and I clearly agree that it will be coaches that determine if a team stays a powerhouse. Some interesting ones coming up in the next 5 years:
- Tejas - do they have the right guy? - No
- OU - does a D oriented coach get them back to the top. - No their road got so much harder and their recruiting is going to have to step up as well
- NE - Rhule seems to be a great hire ... can he get them back to greatness. - No Nebraska is dead
- ATM - can Dumbo actually corch? -No but they are stuck
- UF - is Slingblade finally the right guy, or not? - Jury is out
- CU - Will Dabo change? - No and I would advise him to get out now before he tarnishes his legacy
- What happens to UM and tOSU when both their coaches end up in the NFL? - OSU will keep rolling and Michigan will Michigan
- USC - How long does Riley get when he can't build a defense and gets abused in the B1G? - I think the B1G is going to take more a toll than they think
- UA - who replaces Satan? I think it will be Kiffin. - Maybe but Kiffin isn't helping himself with dumbass moves by following analytics and then going even further. If you are going to follow the book then follow the book, he pushes way too hard and it cost him games.
- AU - who replaces Freeze when he starts connecting with hookers on recruiting trips? - I think he is there for at least 7 years. He will keep his nose clean and he will eventually be better than Malzahn (similar offense but less dumbassary).
- UC - how quickly does Sanders move on because he sucks or he is good? - I don't think he will suck compared to what they were, I don't think he upgrades from here and I think he gets bored with it in 5 years.
Will be fun to watch.
