I said before the season that I my disappointment mark for wins in season is 8.5. I would be satisfied with over 9+ wins. Below that I would say is disappointing.

I still think Iowa could go 9-3. Confidence is low with it, but I don't see it unrealistic. If Iowa pulls it off, they would be B1G West champs and probably go 0-2 in post season.

Iowa bloggers are saying Kirk is getting a lot of pressure following Wisconsin firing Chryst.

I think Iowa's offense looked the best they have all season against Michigan. Petras had an okay game. I think 9 wins is still doable during regular season (which was my lowest and not be disappointed).

As lousy as Petras has been as a college QB, I would not blame him for that loss. He started out pretty rough but ended up going 21/31 with 246 yards, a TD and no turnovers. He was under pressure a good chunk of the day before Michigan's DL started to consume him towards the end.

That game felt like a regression to the mean for Iowa's offense, it might be bad but I don't think they'd play as poorly as they did in the first four games forever. I also think it raises even more questions about Michigan's linebackers, especially Colson. Just hoping the DL and secondary can continue to make up for that.
