The ranking is opponents' defense unit, so it would be the team's offense being ranked.

I really don't understand how Nebraska's defense isn't listed or what they're using for criteria.
Are they using last season's data or making up what they believe this season's data will show?
Nebraska Defense Stats 2023
Total Defense: 11th
Rushing Defense: 8th
Scoring Defense: 13th
First Downs Defense: T-5th
Passing Yds Allowed: 40th
If they're averaging all those main stat rankings out, it comes to 15.4
Regarding 'Passing Yds Allowed", Wisconsin was 39th yet came in 6th overall on the list.![]()
It is a SOS, but instead of opponents overall, they are basing only on opponents defense

You just told me "The ranking is opponents' defense unit, so it would be the team's offense being ranked."
Are you having a stroke?
Not one word in the tweet had anything to do with offenses.
Anyone with the ability to analyze Big 10 West offense rankings can see it was the horrible offenses that skewed those Big 10 West defense stats.
Who faces the opponent's defense?
Horrible Big 10 West offenses. Thus skewing the Big 10 West's defensive stats.
I thought we cleared that up?
Yes, that is why B1G West, but Nebraska, are in the top 10 of the rankings.
I think the Iowa fan was joking, saying Iowa's offense sucked because they had the toughest defensive schedule. Obviously it isn't true. Iowa just sucked on offense.
Did you see the Nebraska and Wisconsin 2023 defensive stats I posted?
Yet Wisconsin comes in 6th and Nebraska isn't even in the list's top 30 overall rankings?
Is Kelley Ford actually BigGameBoomer?
I'm not saying Nebraska's defense was all that good. Michigan crushed them 45-7. Colorado beat them 36-14.
Minnesota scored 13 on them. 122nd in Total Offense
Illinois scored 7 on them. 60th in Total Offense
Northwestern scored 9 on them. 121st in Total Offense
Purdue scored 14 on them. 70th in Total Offense
Wisconsin scored 17 on them in regulation. 69th in Total Offense
Iowa scored 13 on them. 130th in Total Offense
Nebraska was 115th in Total Offense
Average Total Offense ranking of Big 10 West = 98th
That's bound to skew any defensive stats considering they're 6 of your opponents.
Nebraska's defensive stats looked good because the 6 Big 10 West opponent's offenses weren't any good.
Nebraska's defensive stats impact the FBS teams they play.
Look up those defensive stats for all of Nebraska's 2023 FBS opponents.
Iowa's defense helps Nebraska, but I bet Colorado hurt Nebraska in this ranking.
So did their #115th ranked offensive stats.
But that only affects 14 games out of over 150 games.
We're obviously not going to agree on this.
I'm taking the time to use analysis and put up actual stats (#'s) from the NCAA showing why those six Big 10 West teams being in the top 10 defensive unit ratings are skewed.

You're not supporting why those six Big 10 West teams should be in the top 10 defensive unit ratings in any way.
I said the Iowa fan used the rankings to jokingly give the reason Iowa's offense sucked. I also agreed that is the reason the B1G West teams are in the Top 10, and thought it was funny that Nebraska didn't make the Top 30.
If Iowa didn't win the B1G West, they would not be #1 on this list.
Bro...
When you are arguing about 30th place, you've already lost.
Tell us you didn't comprehend the discussion without telling us you didn't comprehend the discussion.
I could give a shit what "the discussion" was retard. I said what I said because it is a fact. Perhaps it is your dumbass that didn't comprehend something.
