Sweat is on pace for about 11.5 sacks.
Sweat might be better but saying much better is a bit of a stretch. Plus, Young's ceiling is higher since he is just 24 and Sweat is 27. Not to mention, Young will benefit from playing opposite Bosa.

Young is not as durable or dependable.
There are other stats besides sacks as well.

Young has his youth and time to mature and will definitely benefit from the change of scenery, but I don't think he's the right fit in chicago right now. Bears needed a productive leader on the front 4. Young needs to grow up a bit. Both players are prolly where they fit the best. I'm happy with Sweat, maybe not the draft pick per se, but they got plenty of capital to replace that.

Bears are in great position with their first round pick and the Panthers. They are going to land either Jim Harbaugh or BB in the offseason due to being the most attractive HC job. They can either keep Fields and use those draft picks to surround him with talent or trade him to get even more assets meanwhile drafting one of the top QBs in the draft and then someone like Marvin Harrison Jr to pair them with.
