Game day thread, week 9

Alex Smith 17-20 272 yards!

Now Falcons are playing as I had expected them to all year. Not that beating the Broncos is anything special or something that will make ESPN, but still, nice to see the boys playing well and winning games again.

Yeah i bet you have, johnny pisspants. The 70's must have been a real nightmare for your miserable ass
Yeah at that point I think everyone hated the Steelers.

I remember being a 13 year old kid giddy as hell as the Rams were outplaying the Steelers in that Super Bowl.

And then the fourth quarter happened

There's the Dallas we all know and (don't) love.

I....uhhh......how did Pittsburgh pull that off?

I....uhhh......how did Pittsburgh pull that off?
A few timely throws, a bonehead Vander Esch penalty and some terrible clock management. Props to your Steelers for good defense, but it wasn't their strongest game. Dallas just sucks... ass.
McCarthy blowing that game for them just feels so fitting
I can't wait for the day when Jerry Jones just decides to be HC as well as GM, and we see him call plays. Wrinkled old bastard would probably throw his back out using the challenge flag.

Drew brees!!!

Doesn't appear to be a smart challenge by Bruce Arians.

A Cowboys defense is forced to play in the 4th Qtr.
Wash, Rinse, Repeat!
I'll admit that it was a lot closer than I thought it would be. A lot.....

LOL at Tom Terrific
Tommy still has some game left in him, but Bruce Arians is a meathead. Gotta believe that Sean Payton was laughing his ass off all week thinking about the prospect of matching wits with that schmuck.

Wow, what a shit call.

I wouldn't hire Bruce Arians to coach a high school team.

LOL. Brady's just lobbing balls, Brett Favre-style now for INTs.

As a smart married football fan I used the bye week intelligently, reducing a growing honey do list and getting very productive. Didn’t watch a minute of the games. But, I did catch up most of the highlights. And....I have to say.....

From a talent on the field perspective I am feeling very encouraged with this league. The back and forth showdown with Tua and Kyler was excellent. Welcome to the league, Tua!

After what has felt like years of solid new coach failure Bryan Flores and Klingsbury look solid. I might be able to say the same about Carolinas new coach.

Between those games and the Bills-Seahawks game it was a good weekend for highlight watching.
