Bright side if you'd told me before the game we'd get outreboubded , go 4-24 on 3s and 14-26 on fts i would've said we lost by 30. Definitely some stuff to tighten up but realistically we couldn't have shot it much worse and they won't shoot it like that again anytime soon so I'd feel ok matching up againOut hustled on loose balls too
Gonzaga just played ok imo but they shot it incredibly well which they hadn't done all year and we shot for shitHonestly didn't think Gonzaga played all that well. Ton of turnovers, offensive fouls, fouls in general. If Suggs plays like that all season, they are pretty much unbeatable. Closest thing to Golden State in CBB.

Thats fair. Hopefully we tighten shit up.I think both teams can perform better than they did. Iowa with shooting, Gonzaga with sloppiness and fouls. A rematch would be interesting, but I think I'd still pick Gonzaga.
Pretty accurateCouldn't watch the game today, so I'll default to my minds eye from watching "Fran-ball" for a dozen years and the stat sheet.
-Big game so we we're ice cold from the 3.
-Big game so we won't concentrate and we'll shoot just above 50% from the line.
-We'll have many rebounding opportunities, but for whatever reason, the ball will just bounce around off the hands of our guys and ultimately be recovered by the other team.
-We'll be continuously out hustled on loose balls and have similar hand issues as with the rebounding.
-We'll make half-assed and weak defensive efforts with trying to strip the ball as the other team gashes toward the hoop. Rarely putting our bodies in position to change the way the play goes or take a charge.
If you can't count on your hustle or your FT shots, you aren't going to overcome your talent deficit. Fran doesn't adjust his game to match the situation.
