I was in Texas on business and a bunch of us went to a local Steak House called Sawgrass the Texans were all about, the waitress asked what we wanted to drink and I said "Unsweeted tea" and the Texans started chuckling.

In the South, if you order "Tea" it automatically comes sweet you have to specific unsweeted and a lot of places you are lucky if they even carry it that way.

I figured they’d hang ya in Texas for drinkin unsweetened tea.

My dad and I took a trip to NY out of southern WV (below the Mason Dixon so it counts) We stopped in a Bob Evans or Perkins or some little pop in like that somewhere in upper PA. I ordered a sweet tea and the girl looked at me like I had a third eye and said “you mean like raspberry?”

We got up & left.
