Don't think any of them wanted the record to say he was fired either.
 
TCU won't be able to pay the next guy what Hitch'em Up has been making since quite a bit of it wasn't really a "salary" from TCU.
 
Gotta give him credit too for sticking around the whole time. Would've been real easy to go to a bigger name school

he probably stayed b/c he never thought TCU would fire him

they probably feel like he raised the profile of the school and he failed them when he couldn't sustain those 10-11 win seasons and appearances in major bowl games. I wonder if they still fire him if he was a consistent 8-9 win coach for 20 years.
 
For the love of 7 pound, 5 ounce Baby Jesus, someone give Fatterson a job so we dont have to listen to anymore of his "music".
 
TCU worried about Texas Tech getting in with candidates they want. Sonny Dykes is about to get a lifeline out of Conference USA.
