He’s had major heart issues for as long as I can remember. His doctors have told him not to perform for at least 15 years.

Yes!

Gary Rossington and Allen Collins had their own band post plane crash and recovery in 1980. They released two albums but disbanded after Collins' wife passed away in 1982. Lead singer for Rossington and Collins was Dale Krantz. Krantz married Rossington in 1982 and they have two daughters.
