Gas Prices in you Area/Gas Buddy

The low jumped up .17 cents yesterday.

That means that the rest of the country is fucked, as if you didn't know that already.

I have a gas station right near my house that I usually get my gas at. It has a car wash attached to it. This gas station has a program whereby you pay a certain amount each month and you get 1) unlimited car washes and 2) a slight discount (I think .08 or .12) on gas when you enter a club code. I have two cars and both are in this program.

I was running around town today and I was almost empty. My car read “24 miles to empty”. I probably could have made it to the gas station near my house but I didn’t wanna chance it so I just stopped and got gas at some random gas station. Both of my vehicles require premium gas. The price per gallon was 6.09 per gallon. This was my total.

That’s a new record for me. I’ve never paid that much to fill my tank ever.

I drive toward my house and get my free car wash. There wasn’t a line so I went home and got my other vehicle. I figured I’d get it washed and fill it up. When I went to the pump the price per gallon (after my discount) was 5.95 per gallon. My previously mentioned record for the most I’ve ever paid to fill my car with gas didn’t last long…

LOL @ the "I Did That" sticker someone tried to take off.

I have a 35 gallon tank
That's ok. Nothing wrong with that.
And 12 mpg
Now that, that ain't worth a fuck.

We have a 89 GMC Sierra 1500. 4WD It has at least a 30 gallon tank, maybe larger. We don't use it much. In fact, I think I better go and see if it will start or if the battery is dead. I think it might get 12mpg, WITHOUT the AC on. It has maybe 110,000 miles on it. Still a great truck, but at 12 mpg or less.....it sitting under the lean-to is a good place for it.

Lol @ blaming one man for gas prices affected by a global pandemic. Derrrrr

$4.99 in Draper UT
In 2018 the US imported about 23% of total crude oil.

In 2021 we imported 72% of our oil and today we are over 75%.

Where does the blame go?

Fuck you idiots that think the president is responsible for anything. Stfu, and take it to the pf. If you think the president is directly, and solely, responsible for the up swings, or down swings, its time to grow up.

This is the standard boom and bust inflation cycle. I know Hammer, "BITCOIN BRO!" , but i cant wait for the crash. We are in the midst of the real estate crash too. I was the first to get hit in early 2006, even though everyone else got it in 2008 to 09. Its happening again. It will happen again in 15 to 20 years again.

Be ready, wait, buy low real estate, and in 12 to 15 years, sell it, and retire. Thats my plan. I have been saving to have enough for multiple down payments on investment properties. My dad also has enough socked away to truely capitalize on the downturn. A bust will never slip my grasp again.

Stfu, and take it to the 'Meltdown' thread.
