GAME Gator Bowl #17 Wake Forest vs Rutgers 11:00am (ET) ESPN

That's a TD or incomplete with a bobble

I'll go for TD

They showed the crowd in the stadium coming back from commercial. Looks like a HS game in northern Wyoming.
Rutgers on short notice and Wake Forest playing on NYE in Florida isn't gonna draw many fans to the game

Rutgers playing pretty well for a team with 15 minutes of practice.

These are pretty much glorified high school teams, no?

Even on their best day Rutgers would only have about 50 Mr Magoos at the game, but I would think WF would have some fans there. It’s not like they go to many bowls.

They're one of the smallest P5 schools and play 4th fiddle in their state. They don't have a huge fan base. And this is Wake's 6th straight bowl season. They've became a solid program under Dave Clawson, similar to Kentucky under Stoops.

These "replacement" games are interesting. While one team may have been practicing, they weren't doing so for THIS opponent.

Impressively Rutgers has kept this a game at least until the start of the next bowl game.

Didn’t know that about Wake. Who is 1-3 fiddle in NJ? Monmouth? Fairleigh Dickinson? Princeton?
