I will never understand why a team that sucks like the Cats do this year (and, hey, let's be honest, they suck far, far more years than they don't, although they're looking better than my basketball Cats :Cry:) get to play in bowl games.

I long for the good ol' days of getting to a Bowl Game actually meaning something.

This year is way worse than normal year with a lot of teams electing not to play but even other years with 6-6 teams making a Bowl Game shows it doesn’t mean anything
 
I’m shocked that the NC State offense sucks with Tim Beck as their offensive coordinator. I’m sure Ohio State and Texas fans are shocked as well

Im just saying that consecutive bowl streaks and bragging about making Bowl games is pretty dumb when half the teams make games. It’s not a big deal like it was when most teams didn’t make them and actually had to win most of games to qualify.

It's not as prestegious (sp) as it once was, but the extra practice time is usually helpful...especially this year.

Who brags about bowl streaks? If Virginia Tech made a bowl this year, I missed it, and if they didn’t, UGA has the longest active streak. You won’t see me bragging about it. Less football is never a good idea
 
This one is shaping up to end in a Tulsa Miss State type brawl at the end... might be more kick and run, helmet swinging and cool punk stuff going on

I don’t even think had many extra practices this year though. With regular season ending later, most teams maybe had one week of practice. Plus didn’t really get to enjoy the fun parts of making a Bowl game like normally would.

If KY could have played their full regular schedule they would have been bowl eligible. They got a bad draw with adding both Auburn and Alabama with the new schedule. They were better than they get credit for and lost 2 really close ones. What they did last year with a WR at QB was short of a miracle.

You should be proud of this team.
