My wife and I both had the Covid earlier this month. Lasted about 8 days from start of symptoms to a lack of any symptoms.
Sinuses and a fever came first. Then joint aches, fatigue and hot and cold flashes. Like any other sinus cold except for the worst of all symptoms imaginable for a Cajun....I could not smell or taste anything for a week!
I popped some "Blast O Butter" - theater style buttered popcorn and stuck my face within a few inches from bowl and could not smell anything. Tried to eat the popcorn and it had no taste. Could have been packing popcorn at this point....about the same.

That could also be why you remained sick for a lot longer... Microwave Popcorn (I eat all the time too) isn't great for us. haha
