I had a friend growing up, whose dad had an electric football table ‘game’. You would set the pieces up for a play, flip a switch and then half of them would vibrate around randomly and fall down.Any of you guys old enough to remember the APBA board games? Gale Sayers was the running back with the most chances to break a long run.
APBA Football
Yeah, yeah, I'm old. So what?
Still have a couple of them in the garage...one at least 45 years old.I had a friend growing up, whose dad had an electric football table ‘game’. You would set the pieces up for a play, flip a switch and then half of them would vibrate around randomly and fall down.
It can’t possibly be as old or stupid as that.

Probably worth a bit on Ebay.Still have a couple of them in the garage...one at least 45 years old.
It was just as old but not as stupid as that crazy game that vibrated those guys all over the place.. You rolled dice and then look at a card for a player that would indicate statistically how far they carried the ball, complete/incomplete pass, how many yards, turnoevers, etc. It was very statistical based on previous years performances.I had a friend growing up, whose dad had an electric football table ‘game’. I honestly didn't know there was another college football game other than bowl bound. There were a lot of stats based NFL games...Paydirt, Statis-Pro, but I was always more of a college fan. Bowl Bound was by Avalon Hill, somebody put it online a few years back, it was interesting, but didn't have the same feel. I can remember running tournaments with my friends, we got the expansion back and ran 32. '83 Nebraska beat '67 USC in the final. It was just as old but not as stupid as that crazy game that vibrated those guys all over the place..
