Georgia owns Bama in roundball too

For years I always said that I didn’t want UGA to have a good basketball program because I didn’t want anyone referring to UGA as a basketball school when the football team wasn’t up to snuff. There’s no greater insult than to be called a basketball school. But after the football natty, it’s about time UGA at least starts making the tourney every now and then. The fans will support the football team 0-12 or 15-0, but they won’t support basketball unless it’s a winning product

According to Twitter, Auburn’s roster is made up of mostly players from Georgia including a UGA transfer and a UGA legacy

Must be like that year I was in high school when UGA won the SEC tourney. My buddy was in the Georgia Dome when the tornado hit the area. Totaled his dad’s Buick

We got to watch them lose to Xavier in English class. Fuckers wouldn’t do the same for afternoon Braves games, which I thought was bullshit

fwiw, when i first started watching college basketball Georgia was pretty decent. Jim Harrick was the coach. He was fired near the end of the season in 2003 for NCAA violations. apparently, three basketball players were given an "A" for a class they never attended. Sounds like a certain school that I'm familiar with that never received any type of punishment.

Some say UGA winning the SEC tourney in 08 was the worst thing that could have happened for the basketball program because it lead them to keeping a bad coach longer than they should have.
 
Saw that UGA has the worst record of any SEC team ever. Still beat Bama though
