I was looking at the TV schedule and it looks like the entire Big12 has a bye week, PAC/B1G won't start for another week and there isn't an exciting game in the ACC this week. It's pretty much the only game of national interest being played this week.

There are a couple of other games I want to keep track of like:

KY vs Tenn - This one could go either way
aTm vs Miss State - Either State gets back on track or they are done.
LSU vs Florida - Florida should kill them but what if they don't? Inquiring minds and shit

Honestly, I betting UGA vs Bama and KY vs Tenn are the best two games of the day.

I'm looking forward to the boxing unification fight between Lomachenko and Lopez Saturday night

Disagree in Kentucky vs. Tennessee. Not enough to move the meter. I will state that Kentucky vs. Tennessee has been a great series in Basketball lately.

Honestly there couldn’t be a better weekend for a weak slate of games. Potential game 6 of the NLCS is gonna take a lot of my attention on Saturday if it happens

how do you feel about Jawjas chances? They will need to attack the secondary imo to have a real chance.

Gonna be tough. You can’t stop an offense like Bama’s, but we’ll need to slow em down, and I think we have the best defense in the country, and the best defense we’ve had in my lifetime. The defense has been good the last few years, but was always missing a pass rush, and we’ve got that now. We’re gonna have to hit Jones early and often.

Stetson Bennett is a good game manager and a damn good backup, but I’d feel better with JT Daniels. Bennett is accurate and makes good decisions, but he doesn’t has the arm for deep passes. I think we can have a lot of success on the ground, but we’ll need a passing attack to win. Hopefully Kirby and Monken took some notes from the Ole Miss game to add to the plan.

It won’t be easy, but we have a real shot.

Saturday’s Alabama-Georgia SEC Championship Game earned a 10.1 rating and 17.5 million viewers on CBS, up 26% in ratings and 30% in viewership from last year (Georgia-Auburn: 8.0, 13.5M) and up 53% and 58% respectively from 2016 (Alabama-Florida: 6.6, 11.1M).

Didn't pull as big as I thought it would be definitely impressive.

For comparison purposes Oklahoma vs Texas this year was at a 10 year high and still had 10+ million fewer viewers (but the Big 12 doesn't have a ratings problem...... shhhhhh).

Ratings hit a ten-year high for the Oklahoma-Texas rivalry.

Last Saturday’s Oklahoma-Texas college football game averaged a 4.5 rating and 7.25 million viewers on FOX, marking the rivals’ highest rated and most-watched regular season meeting in a decade (2009: 5.7, 8.71M). That excludes their matchup in last year’s Big 12 Championship (6.2, 10.16M).

not so bad for two teams that have been playing shitty.. Think the reason why people tuned in Sat night was to watch #2 vs #3.. but maybe if it were TN vs Mizzu the same ratings would have happened?

So you're comparing Texas vs Oklahoma to TN vs Mizzu?

This year that sounds legit.

Just saying it's two schools that are playing bad right now..yet they still pulled numbers.. not sure how that is bad.. But let me guess if Bama was 2-2 and GA was 2-1 coming into the game, with one unranked and the other #22.. it would have had 10 mil viewers?

Still the best D in the country. Not a lot of D's are going to stop those WRs, with Mac dropping dimes, and that OL giving him the time he had. When we play them in Atlanta, we are definitely going to have to scheme differently if we want a different outcome. Will need to see if we can limit them to 28-35 points in order to win. That's a tall order, even for a great D.

You guys will get your shot at our D in two weeks. Your O has looked really good thus far, we'll have to check back in after that game to see if our D is as good as I think we are.
