That said, who are these "you guys" you are referring to? I know you aren't talking about UGA. Top of my head:

Az State
Colorado
Notre Dame

We won the Rose Bowl in Cali, and the Natty in Indy.

We have UCLA, OU, TX, Louisville, tOSU, Clemson, NCState, FSU, all scheduled OOC.

You listed the Mississippi and I don't care that some of these are east of the Mississippi. We travel well OOC, better than you.

Check out LSU, Bama, Auburn, and even UF these days. The SEC ain't afraid to travel and play Big Boy games.

Finally, you should have insisted on a Home and Home series. That's on you for agreeing to play in Atlanta.

Oregon looked good coming off 08 and 09 with a couple 10 win seasons
UGA was 11 wins in 07 10 wins in 08. 09 was only 8-5
UGA was 1-4 to start 2010 and they called off a future home and home.
by 15 and 16 when it was supposed to happen oregon was 9-4 and 4-8 while UGA was 10-3 and 8-5.

You are way overthinking this. In the early 00s, we traveled - to Colorado, ASU, and OkSU. We had a change in our AD in 2010 who came from Florida where the strategy, as we all know, was to stay closer to home. Those of us who liked away games hated that McGarrity, not the most favored AD, stopped with the solid OOC scheduling. Enter Smart and we have the toughest future OOC in the country.

No one was looking at records and saying we don't want to play that team or this team. Or we are scared to play that team.

Nobody in the history of time has been scared to play a team named after the most candy ass of water fowl. Geese or swans would have been a better name.

But like I said, Oregon hasn’t earned the right for UGA to come to them. Oregon knows it. That’s why y’all agreed to come to Atlanta for a one off. Just be happy that we view you as a more worthy opponent than Virginia, who we kicked off the schedule to make room for some west coast limp wrists(redundant, I know)
