GAME Georgia vs Oregon, 9/3/2022, 3:30 PM eastern, ABC

I know it was artifice turf but Nix would have had no grass stains on the back of his jersey. Impressive and certainly bodes well for us moving forward against PAC teams.

Just went up against one of the best teams. They now see it, now know adjustments to make in practice and no one else on the schedule is nearly as hard as Georgia.

Offense moved the ball well, just either make mistakes and couldn’t finish.
I know you're die hard Oregon, but as someone who has watched a lot of Bo Nix, I promise you he isn't that good. Auburn isn't a good team and he couldn't cut it there. His decision making is shaky at best, and he's quick to temper and once that happens, his throws get further off the mark.

You need to utilize his legs more against weaker teams, but he isn't the type of QB that can lead you to beat elite teams like UGA.

I guess that answers 2 questions:

1. Is UGA going to take a step back on D? Uh, no. Maybe a bit, but by the time we get to the meat of our schedule, it will be elite.

2. Is our O going to be better than last year when we averged 38 a game? Yes, we’ll average 42+ … Stetson Bennett got no respect coming into the season and he showed out.

What a way to start the defense of a natty!

Gotta give Oregon credit. They kept it closer than I thought they would.

Oregon will learn from this. Georgia as good of a team there is in the country, just not on their level yet. I still believe this is a team that can compete for a PAC 12 championship.

Nobody was beating Georgia on opening weekend in that supposedly neutral site that we couldn't hear our band in...nobody
