And that is probably why your QBs haven't seemed as swift. Don't have to win games just don't put the team in a postion to lose them. Those other guys will win it. As long as a team can "out physical" the teams they play....

Well, the QB position has been an issue since before the rest of the roster was loaded. But right now, this is probably the best group of receivers on a UGA team in my lifetime, but we're not playing the QB that can take advantage.

I want to be there. I just want to be in the best position to win while we're there. IMO, that's with JT Daniels at quarterback.

No offense to those other teams, but Bama and Georgia are statistically the two most talented rosters in college football. You can beat the rest with a half ass decent QB. To beat a team with the same level of roster talent, you need a difference maker at QB.

Are you saying you shouldn't been ranked #1 for over 1/2 the season?
 
the dude's 3rd in the country in Y/A, 4th best passing efficiency rating in the country, and finshed tied for 17th in passing TD's despite being 85th in the country in pass attempts. Also averaged 5.9 YPC. The fact that he's done that as a walk on is pretty impressive.

And Fromm was very good in 2017/2018, but he did regress in 2019

In the Hoopla poll, I didn't rank them first until they were the last undefeated P5 team remaining.

Cool story no doubt. You don't want cool stories when playing for a natty though. You want the best you have to offer. It would be different if Kirby had the balls to make a QB change at halftime like Saban did when he pulled Hurts in favor of Tua, but he doesn't.

any way, this is my HOT take:

Alabama + UGA are clearly the two best teams in the country, but i hate watching rematches. I especially hate watching national title game rematches when the two teams are from the same conference. Alabama and UGA both deserve to be there, but I'm just not interested. I may go watch a movie tomorrow night instead of watching the national title gmae

One of my best friends lives in Columbia. I want to go to a game there, but Sandstorm makes me have second thoughts.
