Glacial Lake Missoula

@Kburjr when you went fishing in Montana did you see any evidence of Lake Missoula?

I'm trying to remember where you were fishing and what river. Back when Lake Missoula was around where you were fishing the water might have been 1000's of feet deep and all that drained in the biggest flood ever on Earth.
 
Watched a thing from Randall Carlson on the Missoula floods not that long ago.

Fascinating stuff.

Read the Wiki article and I did fish at least one of the basins mention, so yeah, probably.

@beardown07 can you shed any light on the subject?

Not really, other than if you were in western MT, there's a decent chance it was under water at some point.
