GAME Go Space Force, Beat Air Force!

I am curious if Space Force is going to be combined into one of the other academies like the Marines are at the Naval Academy. Right now I know that Space Force is recruiting all the branches to find seasoned officers and they have pulled experts from the Air Force, Navy and Army to fill those ranks.

I don't see them starting a new academy from scratch for many years as the Air Force was technically part of West Point until 1954.

Space Force is one of the most retarded things DoD has ever come up with, and that's saying something.
Hard for me to say this, but I advise watching The Colbert Show from last night. Most of the show was visiting the Thule base in Greenland. Lots of Colbert's shit but a lot of info as to the Space Force mission.

I've been TDY to Thule. It was the Air Force's mission, no need to make a whole new "force" for it. IMO it should just be a command under USAF, like Air Combat Command, Air Mobility Command etc.

Planes don't fly in space.:dhd:

But they can justify throwing more money that can be unaccounted for at it if they split it into two branches.

They should start off in division 3, like the Coast Guard academy

The Navy is pretty involved with the space mission as well. It's naval ships we use to file missiles to break up space debris and if we ever got into a conflict where we were taking out enemy satellites we would do this mostly from sea as well.

They need to just fold NASA into it.

That's right, you had a kid go there, correct?
She graduates this year.

She is on the offshore sailing team so technically she is a D1 lettermen. Which cracks me up because there isn’t any other way someone from my family would have achieved that!

Nice

What's that old ship they have for training, the Eagle?

Go Stormtroopers, beat the Tie Pilots.

Yeah

She spent about 3 weeks on Eagle summer after her sophomore year. She said it was cool but she doesn't want to be on Eagle again.
