So far, so good. Sounds like they've already been pretty active. Also bringing in the safety from Purdue for a visit as a Lathan replacement. We just need to involuntarily enter Justin Frye into the portal.

Oregon is going after the Purdue Safety too, whenever I see us up against someone like Oregon or Texas A&M I fully expect to lose the NIL battle.

Think we probably have a great shot here though

Oregon seems to have spent a fortune on this recruiting class, not sure they're going to toss a ton at this kid. Getting Mansoor would be amazing though, especially if Iggy goes pro after this season.

If a CB can be described as a gunslinger, that's him. Thankfully we're absolutely loaded at the position, and Mansoor would be perfect from an experience standpoint.

Bizarre rant that I forgot about from last night. Herbstreit thinks fans are insane for being mad at a coach for continuing to lose to their number 1 rival. Okay…..
 
Ryan Day is Ohio State's version of Bob Stoops at Oklahoma. OU won a NC in 2000 and then what? OU kept winning a lot of games and looked great season after season and then laid an egg when it came time to win in the National Championship playoff games. It's hard to fire a guy that wins so much but it's a real bitch watching them lay an egg year after year after year with unbelievable talent and all the financial support someone could ask for. Coaches like that aren't worth it to me. I'd rather have some lousy seasons but know my guy has been able to win a NC occasionally instead of always being the chump who kept blowing it.

I'm sure all big name programs have similar groups within the fanbase, but Ohio State's rabid fans are pretty infamous.

Kirk knows well. They chased him out of town because they thought his announcing was "anti-Buckeye".

He isn’t wrong and death threats to him and his family are just way over the top ridiculous.
Big moments do seem to be tough for Day right now.
Got to a NCG vs Bama and got dominated. That was the covid year and their team was decimated bc of covid.
Lost to UGA in the Semi’s bc of an egregious hit that knocked Harrison out. Kicker misses a GW FG. If they win that game he gets his championship win.

Those were two of the biggest games and not all on him. Not making excuses for him bc he seems to lay an egg every year against scUM. At this point he is playing to not lose in that game. He needs to redeem himself this CFP.

Doing it in a big way, if that horrific michigan loss is what it took to see this version of Ohio state and ryan day them I'm not as sad it happened

Still fucking sucks, but if they can seal the deal he is set for a while
